June Quarterly Meeting Minutes

The Capital District Clean Communities Coalition held its June quarterly meeting on Thursday June 19th at the Capital District Transportation Committee office in Albany, NY. A presentation was given by Joe Darling, from Darling Transportation Energy Solutions about Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and its infrastructure. Additionally, there were updates regarding current and past funding opportunities.  Meeting notes (click to download) have been uploaded and they include the presentation slides.

Reminder:  CDCC offers a variety of resources that provide valuable information on alternative fuels, incentives, benefits and more. Further information on these resources and how to use them can be found here.

Save the date: There will be a dual fuel truck demo July 17^th at Tracey Freightliner of Albany and July 18^th at Price Chopper (address to be announced soon). Dual fuel vehicles run on both diesel and natural gas for an extended range compared to the all CNG vehicles. This specific demo will be presented by Landi Renzo and Baker Technologies.  Additional details to follow.
